Martha Grove Hipskind is a gerontologist with a passion for helping everyone to see aging and disabilities in new ways that invite imagination and conversation. Throughout her career, Martha Grove provided care management services to families, delivered education and training programs in a variety of community and professional settings, and acted as consultant to healthcare systems, senior living providers, and faith communities. In addition to her private practice, she served as project manager for the seven-county Triangle J Area Agency on Aging where her work included facilitating a multi-disciplinary resource connections board and providing options counseling for nursing home residents.
At White Memorial, Martha Grove serves in the College of Elders and the Usher Guild and is a member of Faith Foundations class and the Intergenerational Community Group. She is overjoyed to be joining the staff of our church as the next Health Ministries Coordinator.
