Kirsten joined the White Memorial staff in May 2015. As Associate Director of Music, Kirsten shares responsibility for the music ministry along with the Director of Music. In addition to playing both the piano and organ during worship, Kirsten directs choral and instrumental ensembles, and accompanies a variety of soloists and groups.
Previously, Kirsten served churches in Indiana and Ohio in both organist and director of music roles. Kirsten has also taught piano and organ to students of all ages, and has performed both in the United States and abroad. She has a passion for ministering to people by sharing God’s gift of music in fellowship and faith. Kirsten holds a B.M. in piano performance from Baldwin-Wallace University Conservatory of Music, and a M.M. and D.M.A. in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
