Community Groups offer a roadmap for growing in faith and friendship within a small group at WMPC. Because we believe deeply in the value of spending time in Christian community, these groups prioritize flexibility and accessibility. The day, time, and frequency of meetings is unique to each group. When you join a Community Group, you commit to journeying with a small group of people (no more than 20) from September to May.

Most groups utilize the Community Group Guide during their time together. Each session provided in the Community Group Guide is centered around a word – a theme that is meant to help group members consider what it looks like to follow Christ in their lives. There’s time to get to know one another, read a lesson aloud, and discuss the theme. To view the Community Group Guide, click on the graphic to the right.

Some Community Groups are formed around particular ages or stages of life while others are open to anyone. Each one is led by one or more Community Group Leaders who have undergone a training to equip them to provide hospitality and encourage healthy group dynamics.

You can read more about the Community Groups being offered for the 2024-2025 program year below. If you have any questions or you would like to form a new group, please contact Anne Galliher.
