Adult Small Groups
Small groups are a wonderful way to connect with others on the journey who are seeking Christian fellowship and support. While we have numerous Small Groups here at WMPC, we are always excited to begin new ones! Please contact: Grier Richards (staff) to get connected. Our current Small Group offerings include:
In Divorce Support for Adults and Teens, participants share with, learn from and care for one another in hopes of healing from divorce or separation. Contact: Amy Claprood (staff)
Fellowship groups are small groups which form as interest is generated. White Memorial has multiple Fellowship Groups - some are inter-generational, some are for singles and couples, some are especially for parents of young children, and some are interest-based groups. If you would like to form a Small Group or be a part of one which already meets, please contact Grier Richards (staff).
Koinonia Groups are long-term small groups which meet periodically for dinner, study and fellowship. Contact: Jackie Mullin
Men's Breakfast meets for breakfast, fellowship and a discussion of scripture which is led by that week's preacher. Men's Breakfast meets every Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. in Edinburgh-Main Hall. The cost is $4.00 for breakfast buffet. No reservation is necessary. Contact: Don Thompson
Families with Young Children
At White Memorial, we want families with young children (birth - 5th grade) to connect with each other for fellowship, support and fun! Watch for upcoming events. Contact: Grier Richards (staff)
Relationships, relationships, relationships...Most of us would agree that our relationship with God and our relationships with others are of utmost importance. Presbyterian Women offer several opportunities in which women may nurture their faith through prayer and bible study, support the mission of the church world-wide, work for justice and peace, and build an inclusive caring community of women. Contact: Julie Leon, Moderator, or Gloria Johnson (staff)
Senior Adult Ministries (ages 55+) enhances the spiritual, intellectual and physical lives of senior adults through education, fellowship and service. Contact: Jean Williams (staff)
This fun group of Raleigh-area young adults meets each Wednesday to discuss books, the Bible and other topical issues throughout the year. Every second Wednesday of the month, WMPC Young Adults meet for Second Wednesdays on Tap at a local tap house. Please contact Grier Richards (staff) to get involved.
