Our Bible is a living text and we are invited to enter with fresh eyes and an open mind to hear God's word for us today. In this four-week study led by Parish Associate Judy Yates Siker, we will explore some of the men and women who appear in--and disappear from--the books of the New Testament. We will use some familiar and some not-so-familiar lenses to explore fresh understanding of age old stories.
Each of us reads the Bible through our own unique lens, the lens that results from the life we have lived and are living. Join us as we discover new ways of approaching these stories and listen for new understandings.
Feel free to come for dinner before the Wednesday night class or stay for lunch after the Thursday morning class. Childcare is available with registration.
