We hope you'll join Cate Church Norman, Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care or Anne Galliher, Pastoral Resident for Lectio Live on Thursdays at 1 p.m. as we practice a contemplative way to read the Bible called Lectio Divina. It’s an ancient yet simple practice that means “holy reading.” In Lectio Divina, we slow down and listen for God’s word. We take time to listen for words or phrases that stand out for us, and we listen for a call that God may be placing on us.

A message from Associate Pastor for Outreach, Gloria Johnson: Greetings to all of you! This is a shorter version of what I would have done for my Lenten service last week (March 18.) Imagine some beautiful music (we had some ready) and imagine being together (we would have been) and in the very middle of that I would have done this in longer form. Anyway, hope you take to heart the scripture and what Jesus was trying to tell us all as we get so busy with life that we don't take time to rest. Blessings to you all. We are still taking the journey to Jerusalem, just not the way we imagined.

Listen to Cate Church Norman, Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care, teach us another way to worship from home. Praying the Psalms is both a prayer and a Bible study, and one of Cate's favorite devotional ways to read scripture.
