Children's Choirs

Children’s Choir (K-5th) registration for 2020-2021 is now open on the church website. Choir will look different this year, but will offer the same engaging experience in an online format. Online sessions will be on Wednesdays during the 4:30-5:30 hour and will take place for a duration of twenty minutes. The sessions will include vocal instruction, musical activities and faith formation. In past years, we have grouped children according to grade levels. For now, our Cherub Choir, Carol Choir, and Joyful Noise Choir names will go away and we will be the WMPC Children’s Choir. This adjustment for the 2020-2021 year allows us to group children with their siblings, making the online experience accessible for choir families. The children will be led by our team of Children’s Choir leaders and will include both recorded and live instruction. We hope to be able to offer some elective small group in-person opportunities in a safe setting as the year progresses. These opportunities will be offered through a sign-up process for Children’s Choir families and will be optional. The core of our programming will be in the virtual format.

Please contact Kelly Gold, Director of Children’s and Youth Music with any questions.

Mission Statement

WMPC Children’s Choir Leadership team believes....
Children are an integral part of the church and worship and have gifts and talents that can be used to the glory of God. When children sing their faith they become more compassionate human beings, able to show the love of Jesus Christ through their words and actions. Therefore, White Memorial Presbyterian Church Children’s Music Ministry’s Mission is to foster musical artistry, worship leadership, and faith formation through choir and and other art forms.
