Habitat For Humanity – Wall Build

We have the wonderful opportunity of leading a “Wall Build” the morning of April 26 (the Saturday after Easter).  It would be fantastic if we could have 15 – 20 volunteers from White Memorial join us for the event.  If you have not had the prior opportunity to join in a wall build, just know that it provides good fellowship, with no special skills required.  The one tool we use is a hammer, nailing on the floor of the warehouse all of the interior and exterior framing for the walls of a complete house.  Please come join us!

While the wall build is the main event, lasting about 2 – 2.5 hours, on this Saturday the walls will be driven on a flatbed truck to the construction site in the Old Poole Place neighborhood where some of them will be raised.  This provides added opportunities:

On-site wall installation in the Old Poole Place neighborhood (just follow the truck or join when you can).  Let me know if you can do this.
