Parents of Littles Group
“I believe friendship is God’s greatest evidence of himself here on earth…I believe in circling the wagons – gathering your people around you to tell you the truth when all the voices out there are shouting bad news.”
– Savor: Living Abundantly Where You Are, As You Are, Shauna Niequist
Parents who are raising young children know that this is a time of life that is rich with both joys and challenges. Cultivating community with other parents who are in a similar season, sharing stories and struggles, and hearing others say “me too” provides support and connection in a time that can feel isolating.
“Parents of Littles” launched this fall in hopes of bringing together people in our church family who are in the thick of raising young children (preschool and under). The group meets for fellowship and conversation once a month on Sunday afternoons from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Gatherings take place on-campus and childcare is provided in hopes that attending feels accessible and low-stress for parents.
This gathering is an invitation to carve time out of your busy schedule to nourish your spirit through the gifts of friendship and faith community. All parents of littles are welcome and invited. For more information contact Anne Galliher.
