Keenagers
Every Thursday, from 09/07/2017 to 05/31/2018, 10:45 AM - 1:00 PM

Keenagers is a fellowship group sponsored by WMPC and Raleigh Parks and Recreation, and is designed for adults ages 55 plus. Our membership drive is throughout September and there is a $10.00 annual fee to help cover the costs of speakers’ lunches. We meet on Thursdays, September - May. Keenagers begins with an informal coffee and fellowship from 10:15-10:45 a.m. The regular meeting is held from 10:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. (Come around 10:40 a.m. for good parking as most of our Bible studies dismiss around 10:30 a.m.) Each week we begin with a short business meeting followed by a great program and devotional. At noon, we enjoy a hot meal served by the best cooks in Raleigh! The fee for lunch is $5. Usually the group takes a day trip to a place of interest once a month. We will take an overnight trip in the Spring.

December 14 – The Schmidt Family Makes Music
Come and listen to the beautiful sound of the charming Schmidt Family. Georgia, Emily (age 12), Thomas (age 8) and Bill Schmidt joined WMPC in 2001. They love having the opportunity to share music as a family. They often play in the OnPoint service and many members are amazed by their talents. Coffee and fellowship 10:15 a.m.; meeting and program at 10:45 a.m. with $5 lunch to follow in Geneva Hall. You do not need a reservation. ROOM K-100

December 19 - Golden Years Breakfast

Join other Keenagers for a docent-led tour of the World War I exhibit at the Museum. Trace the involvement of North Carolinians in the events of World War I, primarily Belgium and France. We’ll have lunch afterward at Pam’s Farmhouse Restaurant. Trips are limited to 20 people. If you are a member of Keenagers, please reserve at one of the Keenagers meetings.
