Make plans to join us on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m.in C200 the Middle East Committee for Peace and Justice has invited Mohammed Eid, a 29 year old Palestine refugee, who grew up in Rafah camp in the Gaza Strip, to speak. Mohammed is currently a Rotary Fellow pursuing a master's degree in Global Studies and International Development through a joint program at the University of North Carolina and Duke University. During this talk, Mohammed will share his story of what life is like living and growing up in Gaza and the role the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) played in his life.
