NAMI Basics is a free, 6-session program designed for parents and primary caregivers of children and teens experiencing challenging behaviors.

  • Learn the facts about mental health conditions in a small group setting.
  • Learn how to support your child at home, school or when they’re getting medical care.
  • Understand the illnesses that are causing these emotional and behavioral difficulties, and the critical role families play in the treatment of these illnesses.
  • Connect with a trained team of teachers with lived experience who know what you are going through.
